How NA / Events handles your data, and the rules for using the platform.
Privacy Policy
Who we are
NA / Events (na-events.org) is an internal platform operated by the Student Leadership Team at NA. It exists solely to publish and manage school events for students and staff.
What data we collect
- Email address — used to identify your account. Only
@schooladdresses are accepted. - Account role — whether you are a standard user, administrator, or owner. Set by the platform owner.
- Audit log entries — when administrators create, edit, or delete events, your email is recorded alongside the action for accountability.
- Event content — titles, descriptions, locations, dates, and poster images uploaded by administrators.
How we use your data
- To authenticate you and provide access to the platform.
- To display events relevant to your year group (e.g. sixth-form-only events).
- To maintain an audit trail of administrative actions for school governance purposes.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside the operation of this platform.
Data storage and security
All data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on infrastructure within the European Union. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Event poster images are stored in Supabase Storage with public read access limited to the platform.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is accessible only to the platform owner, and to administrators for the purposes described above.
Cookies and sessions
We use session cookies strictly to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or analytics cookies are used.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting a platform owner. Audit log entries referencing your email may be retained for a reasonable period for school accountability purposes.

Terms of Service
Eligibility
Access to NA / Events is restricted to current students and staff of NA. You must sign in with a valid @school email address. Accounts found to be used by unauthorised individuals will be removed.
Acceptable use
By using this platform you agree to:
- Use the platform only for its intended purpose — viewing and managing school events.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or administrative functions.
- Not post content that is offensive, misleading, or in breach of school policy.
- Not use the platform for commercial purposes or personal gain.
Administrator responsibilities
Users with administrator or owner roles are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content they publish. This includes event titles, descriptions, dates, and poster images. All administrative actions are logged. Misuse of elevated permissions may result in role removal.
Content
All event content is created by NA staff and the Student Leadership Team. The platform makes no guarantees that event information is always up to date; always check with your teacher or form tutor if in doubt.
Availability
We aim to keep NA / Events available throughout the school year but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be taken offline for maintenance or updates without prior notice.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
Governing rules
Use of this platform is also subject to NA's acceptable use policy and general school rules. In the event of any conflict, school policy takes precedence.
